Our Sunday Experiences are just the beginning of our opportunities that add value to your life and help you along the journey with Christ. Maybe you've been coming to River Valley for a couple of weeks. Maybe for several years. When you're ready to take the next step here are some options you can explore.

C'Nex Group
These groups meet in homes all over the Rockford area at different times during the week. Here you will have the time to slow down, relax, discuss questions related to the Sunday message, dip into new studies that help you understand the Bible, figure out real life stuff, and laugh a lot along the way. It is in a C'Nex group that you'll get to know people and discover just how valuable we think you are. You will, well, connect. Again, there is no experience necessary. Igniter Class
If you want to get physically fit, then you schedule an appointment with a physician and a trainer. When a person wants to move into the incredible life that God has planned for them at an enhanced speed, the same type of thing should happen. That's why at River Valley we've developed the Igniter Classes. In these classes our life coaches will help you become all you can be. Igniter 101: KNOW is our membership class. In it you will learn all the details about the church, mission, vision, next steps and more. You have to complete it in order to become a member. Igniter 201: GROW is built around learning and applying four habits that will guide you into spiritual maturity. Here is where you learn the secrets of growing closer to Jesus Christ. Igniter 301: GO will help you discover why you are to serve others and how God has uniquely designed each of us for a specific ministry in the church and marketplace. One of the most fulfilling aspects of the incredible life God offers us is experienced when we are using our abilities to invest in and change the lives of others. We believe that every member of God's family is called to be a minister; everyone who is saved is called to serve. We have many opportunities for you to serve, some are simple and require little time, and others are more complex and require more responsibility. We have options for you to leverage your abilities and passions on Sundays, in the local community and glocally.  Please check out the Missions tab on the home page for a complete list of ministry opportunities.  To learn how God wired to serve, Igniter 301 is a great place to figure out where you should be investing, but you can begin with some simple assignments.
