Bruce Dantuma

Bruce: My family has been part of RVR for many years. Cindy & I have four children, all of which are married. They are all taking their next steps with Jesus, and most recently, our son and daughter-in-law became plugged into a great church in Charleston SC after their recent move from Michigan.

Cindy and I recently transitioned into a new phase of life…After over 40 years of marriage, we are empty nesters and are grandparents to two wonderful toddlers, which we are very close to.

My connectedness to our church has been steady, including serving in KidZone for 25 years. Actually, one of my spiritual gifts is serving and God has made it easy for me to be part of several RVR ministries. At this time, I am humbled that I sense God calling me to serve as a provisional elder. I have a strong sense of confidence in our current elders If this does indeed take place, I will be very committed to being faithful, available and teachable in this role.

I have always felt drawn to the people of our church. It is wonderful to have seen people take their next steps with Jesus here and I pray that this becomes very evident to EVERY person at RVR plus to those whose lives are connected to ours.

Megan Huels

My husband Brian and I have been at River Valley for around 18 years. We have two daughters, Ellie (11), and Avery (9).  I was on staff at River Valley for many years and have been serving as a volunteer for most of the time we’ve been there. I have a great heart for our church and I’m excited to be a part of it in this new (to me) way. I am confident that God has big plans for our church and I’m so excited to see what he will do through us.

Scott Anderson

I started coming to RVR in the fall of 2005 as I was looking for a home church and knew the worship leader at the time.  I tried out for the band and have been playing ever since.

My wife Rhonda and I are newly married and I look forward to serving the people of the church in any way I can.

John and I have two children, Ryan, age 37 and Evan, age 30. We have one granddaughter, Kennadi, she is 8 yrs. old and brings us great joy. John and I both work in the Fastener Industry, John is in engineering and I am in sales. We enjoy spending time with family, cooking, gardening and traveling. We have attended River Valley since 2003 and have made many great friends during our time with the church.
